TOAD 1996 | ~ 695.000€

Oyster | Cayman Islands | +21.14 m

In the exhaustive search for the right vessel to transport his family with five young children around the globe, in optimized comfort and safety, this owner decided on “Toad”. Finding a strong reliable cruising yacht with the long legs and five ensuite cabins, and all the associated features that “Toad” now offers, was a challenging quest. As “Apollonia” this Oyster 70 was found resting in the South of England, and so the story began. The owner’s requirement for no compromise on the technical performance of the yacht necessitated a substantial refit and upgrading and replacement of a large proportion of the vital technical components. The details of these improvements are contained in a separate list available to interested parties. “Toad” was the chosen vehicle for an 18 month long family cruise from Europe to New Zealand. She has proved immensely reliable, and fit for purpose. Her professional crew have continually maintained and upgraded her like no other yacht of this size or ilk. As a result, and with very little evidence of her painless and immensely successful cruise, she is offered in turnkey condition, ready to bring the same enjoyment to her next lucky owner.

Jongert | Pavillon: xxx | +28.80 m

SCORPIONE DEI MARI, a Jongert 2900m, designed by Tony Castro, is one of the most sophisticated sailing yachts of the new Jongert generation with a modern and stylish interior and excellent build quality by one of the world's best shipyards. The yacht offers the perfect compromise of comfortable cruising and performance sailing. The most interesting development is a large "CODE 0" sail, which allows SCORPIONE DEI MARI to maintain an excellent velocity in light winds, while most yachts are motoring. The sailing modifications proved to be extremely worthwhile, therefore SCORPIONE DEI MARI is ready for a reliable worldwide circumnavigation or taking part in super yacht events with friends/family, where she has already won the Palma SYC.
